A major difference between the Israelis and the Palestinians is that the IDF will destroy a legitimate target, knowing and regretting there may be collateral casualties because the terrorists intentionally surround themselves with innocents. The Palestinians on the other hand, intentionally target children, schools, farms, restaurants, markets and tourist spots. Israel tries its hardest to minimize civilian casualties while the terrorists do everything possible to maximize civilian casualties.
