DrCaleb DrCaleb:
I smile at how you guys will base your vote not on the substance of the party platform, but based on scare tactics from the head drone.
I base my vote on which party reflects my views and how they will benefit me and my quality of life if/when they get elected.
As I have mentioned before, I started off as a Liberal supporter because I come from a Liberal family that has always voted that way. After I moved away from home and worked on the 2003 provincial campaign, I started to question the Liberal ideology, and decided to forge my own path and do research.
In 2006-2007, I switched to Conservative, and have almost never looked back, except the the bump in the road that was the 2019 election where I voted PPC. At that time and place, that party seemed to be a conservative option because (as mentioned a few posts back) I was unhappy with the Conservative leadership.
The Tories still best reflect my views and ideas, and I will continue to support them. They don't have the best platform at the moment, but after initial hesitation, I started to like O'Toole more and more. I think he has potential as PM.
