I know we don't have a large sample size, but we should compare this with the results of the election.

Note: I can't vote for the Rhino Party as there is no candidate in my riding.

I see three possible outcomes after Monday's election:

1) Liberal minority (same size as the last) being supported by the NDP (who will lose more seats this time around).

2) Conservative minority that could either be propped up by the NDP (who will lose seats) or the Bloc.

3) Even smaller Liberal minority that will fall in a confidence motion and plunge us into yet another election.

My money is a liberal minority. IE this was a total waste of time and money.

I suspect the cons will win some more seats but we may see an upset in the form of a the PPC getting a seat (unlikely) or spoiling con seats for NDP/Liberals (probable).

If the Liberals get a minority the NDP MUST demand a seat in the cabinet this time. No more Mr Nice guy for the 'country' the liberals have proven they can not lead or be trusted on any form of coherent policy.

Edit. The NDP are going to implode in Quebec again. Bloc are eating everyone's lunch and getting away with it (again).

I suspect a larger Liberal minority, or majority because the PPC will take votes from the CPC in the 905, and the PPC will further divide in the West and let a few NDP or Liberals through because FPTP.

I have to disagree with that, and doubt it almost entirely. I firmly believe the PPC won't get a single seat like last time. Their base of 'power' in the electorate comes from fringe elements and nutcases.

Sensible people like myself that helped start the party jumped off that ship well before the rats did. Advance polls in my area alone show a jump in voters, and this area is predominantly Conservative. People only give a shit about elections when they're tired of who is in charge and want something different, like what happened in 2015.

It will be a minority government either way.

I don't think they will get a seat either. But there were some seats in Ontario that were +-300 votes separating between the Liberals, NDP and CPC, with one of them only a few votes deciding the winner.

I think the PPC will suck up those 600 - 900 votes from the CPC that end up making clear winners out of the NDP or Liberals.

I smile at how you guys will base your vote not on the substance of the party platform, but based on scare tactics from the head drone.

A vote for the People's Party is like a vote for the Liberals, O'Toole says

Ignore all the double talk throughout the campaign, ignore the lack of detail in many plans; but if you vote for the crazy guy, you just might get the corrupt guy instead.

I base my vote on which party reflects my views and how they will benefit me and my quality of life if/when they get elected.

As I have mentioned before, I started off as a Liberal supporter because I come from a Liberal family that has always voted that way. After I moved away from home and worked on the 2003 provincial campaign, I started to question the Liberal ideology, and decided to forge my own path and do research.

In 2006-2007, I switched to Conservative, and have almost never looked back, except the the bump in the road that was the 2019 election where I voted PPC. At that time and place, that party seemed to be a conservative option because (as mentioned a few posts back) I was unhappy with the Conservative leadership.

The Tories still best reflect my views and ideas, and I will continue to support them. They don't have the best platform at the moment, but after initial hesitation, I started to like O'Toole more and more. I think he has potential as PM.
