who'll be voting tactically? I'll holding my nose and voting NDP because Olivia Chow has the best chance of defeating Tony Ianno in Trinity-Spadina but I don't like her or her husband much.

Sad that in our antiquated system you can't vote for theh candidate you want

Just a word to anybody voting tactically....Make sure you know how the race is splitting in your riding. In the last election tactical voting for the wrong parties based on national numbers instead of local numbers (and all three main parties complained about this at least a bit), allowed the party that was being voted against to come up the middle and win the seat.

If you are voting to keep somebody out, follow Iced Cap's example and know what is happening in your riding.

Edited to add: Just top make it really clear...I didn't mean that you should vote for the party that Iced Cap has chosen (although I am) but that you should do what Iced Cap did and make sure that your vote accomplishes your goal.

Olivia Chow hahah really, why not put the whole family on the dole. That must make for interesting dinner conversation like chamber music. Don’t fall asleep in your soup.

You guys just split up that left vote.

Oh i fully understood what you said, what you didn't understand is Laydown and bow_wow Chow were both city council leeches and now you feel it's a good thing to put the wife of Laydown in the Parliament. There is something wrong with your thinking.

She was forced from the Toronto Police Services Board for her big mouth. Just wait till you put her in Ottawa.

The riding your speaking of is a big Liberal wasteland, so it’s don’t matter who you vote for. Knock yourself out.

No there's something wrong with our electoral system. Obviously you didn't fully understand, from my original post...

"I'll holding my nose and voting NDP because Olivia Chow has the best chance of defeating Tony Ianno"

No I don't feel its a good thing putting Chow in parliament but its better than another LIberal govt

I won't be able to vote in this election :x because I've been moving around for university. I would love to see the PC party come back on the scene, that way the next time I could vote there would be a party worth voting for.

Fair enough. But does calling politicians names like you do add anyting to the political discourse? No it doesn't. All it does is make us see you as a small, petty partisan hack incapable of intelligent debate.
