Yeah, their deeply deeply in debt.

WarHawkster, Godz, you 2 are greedy assholes who don't care about the well being of anyone but yourself. I live in SK, we have higher taxes but they should be even higher than they are already. I would sooner not be as rich if everyone in my province can have good health care and the road would be better.

SOCIAL DEMOCRACY!!!!! I'm tired of seeing the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. That is no democratic equality.

Its not a personal attack when its factual.

Democractic socailism can work in a country where children are raised to care about their fellow countrymen rather than guns and to blindly obey the president.

I didn't say Saskatchewan was great, its been poorly run by the NDP for the last few years. It has nothing to do with their democratic socialist ideology, it has to do with their incompitence as a government.

So was British Columbia! The NDP were running that country for years and have run it into a ditch because of their socialist programs and high taxes! Now the conservatives have been put into power to fix the problem. You seem like a bright person, but you have been too manipulated by the far left. You see, B.C and Saskatchewan are not the only two that have been damaged by the far left in that country, also in the U.S Califnornia has gone into huge debt because of the liberals their and can barely repair their infrastrucure...the roads are garbage, the only economic growth exists in real-estate and even that will result in a bubble burst and also there is a exodus of people leaving that state to live in more successful states such as Nevada (where i currently reside) where we have no corporate taxes and no state income tax and bussinesses are flourishing! In fact the unemployment rate here is hovering around 4.0% and we live in a desert for God's sake! Hardly any resources and yet we have a budget surplus and people enjoy a good quality of life here.

Go take your socialist doctrine elsewhere, because more and more people will start realizing the lies that you spew.

I believe in having taxes high enough for quality eduction and health care. Not for the government to fritter the money away on 'spudco' and other crown corp disasteres. The Sask NDP are not socialist. They are communist.

Godz46 Godz46:
if Saskatchewan is such a great place for people thanks to their high taxes...why the hell has the population dropped! in the past years?

Here here! (hear hear?) *sips beer*

Godz46 Godz46:
Why the hell have many young Saskatchewanians (Is that how they're called BTW?) fled to Alberta?

We're gappers, dude. SK is the gap between MB and AB. It's easier to spell than Saskuatchians.

Dude. SK and NF could be the richest provinces in the country, and I have argued that on this site only to get beat down by the Newfies and communists that insist that somehow Alberta is the reason they are poor.

I say increase taxes until everyone leaves and Ralph can annex it into AB and make a fucking fortune off of it.

What many socialist democrats dont understand is that you need a good economy in order to be able to afford their gov't spending. The way the NDP want to do it is spend first on social programs, raise taxes and run the economy into the ground. Then when unemployment is high they blame the peoples misery on corporations and the conservatives. And it works too because the people will have a hard time pointing fingers at a gov't that gave them so many benefits.

The NDP are garbage, they promise everything to you except jobs...which is what really counts in a healthy society. And oh yea, its so ridiculous how the newfies will put down alberta yet droves of them are coming to that province for jobs. HA, what a joke. Same thing in Nevada here, you have all these California socialist liberals coming here for jobs because they cant find good ones back home because they screwed that state into the ground with their god damn regulations and taxes!! And they also bring their socialist ideals to this state as well slowly turning Nevada into California with their votes.

Once tax free Nevada gets screwd over I have no idea where else I will go for economic freedom, I think this is the last refuge.

Avro Avro:
What a simple view of a complex topic. Its almost laughable. Taxes are not the beginning and end of any economy. .

Avro you should have learned by now that fanatics on the extreme right will use even the smallest ,simplest generalizations to try to justify their ideology.People on the far left do the same thing, and NEITHER side looks at the big picture. The real world is so much more complicated than extremists seem to care to acknowledge-and compromise seems o be out of the question for them.
