Hurrah for these veterans.
One of the last, and possibly only successful UN missions.

A war that showed the courage and valour of the real hero's in life, the Canadian soldier. The second Battalion PPCLI were the only Non American Regiment to win an American Citation award.My Warrant Officer that took us through battle school in Wainwright Alta had been there, W.O. Schulz. At nearly 50 in 1982 he could outlast half the platoon on a long run with backpacks. Awesome testament to the Canadian Soldier a great warrior.
Bravo Zulu to him and all the remaining Korean War Vets!

It's a shame that the Korean War is one of Canada's forgotten wars along with the Boer War...
