Oh, I agreee EB, I'm of Scottish lineage myself(I'm the first Canadian born in my immediate family) and the decision to let him go home isn't exactly a great source of pride. I was just stating the US needs to learn to shut the fuck up sometimes.

Well, I understand the outrage, but it's mob outrage. If the guy deserves to die as punishment for his crime, then execute him. Otherwise, let him die in peace. Incarcerating a terminally ill patient achieves none of the goals of sentencing and costs a fortune in tax dollars. Let Libya pay his medical bills until he croaks.

Don't put words in my mouth. Let me rephrase: The British should kill him or kick him the fuck to Libya and let them pay for his last few months worth of expenses. Is that bloodlust enough for you?
I believe in capital punishment. If someone commits a crime haenous enough that they shouldn't be let out to die, then we should have already killed them.

Well, they gave him a first class ticket home, a big party when he got there.
Now he is a free man.
8 years for killing 300 people; not bad at all
Maybe we should deport all our criminals to Scotland, they'll all be freed and back in a couple of weeks.
