I prefer mine sauteed in an autumn riesling, sprinkled lightly with oregano and parsley flakes, and served on a bed of wild rice with portobello mushrooms on the side. But hey, to each his own.

Actually it's becoming more common than people think, it's long been tradition in many cultures. When my daughter was born in August they actually asked us if we wanted it, we didn't.

I had 2 PPD's, but I never thought about eating their placenta's...
The midwife knew better than to ask if we wanted to keep them, so they just went in the trash. (I delivered both my children in my own bed, in my own house)
