It's from the British tabloid press. They consider it a bad year if they haven't driven someone to suicide.

The bit about the Iron Cross is funny to me. West Coast Choppers uses a variation of the iron cross, and the German military still uses it.
Also the open relationship, to me, is who cares. Not my lifestyle but have at it.
The one that's really going to ruin her is the naked pictures, because it just shows a stellar lack of common sense.

$1: The House Ethics Committee announced Wednesday that they are investigating Hill's relationship with Desjardins, which could violate congressional rules She should probably resign. Doesn't appear to be an especially smart or wise person, if she genuinely thought in the internet age this wouldn't come up eventually to bite her. These days it doesn't do the Dems much good anyway to have someone who appears to take Boogie Nights too much to heart as one of their representatives.

Disgusting hussey, as Dudley Moore might have said to Pete. Seriously, though, how shocking are these photos? The big changes from days of yore are that a) sexy times are documented on the phone and widely shared and b) everybody has a tattoo (to my untutored eye, this design could also pass as a Celtic Cross). Other details in this story suggest that the lady was not cut out for politics but we are going to have to raise our outrage threshold given the ubiquity of such photos - many otherwise excellent candidates for the political game from the Facebook generation are likely to have such naughty moments preserved for our viewing pleasure. It could be a particular obstacle for women entering the arena. Why do they let themselves be photographed, then, you ask quite reasonably. I’ll leave the answer to others.

Well, I for one an especially thankful Piddle Puppy blocked out all the naughty bits in those photos. Only a f_____g Prog would show us a nipple

By modern standards the pics are pretty lame. And tame. That there's apparently some kind of questionable (if not illegal) payments from her campaign funds involving the other woman kicks it up a notch into something sleazier. Hill was one of Brett Kavanaugh's louder critics among the female Dems. Just because he too is an actual piece of shit doesn't exculpate her from her own debauched antics, or misdemeanours. Resign, please.

Worse than the flesh is this apparent trend of female politicians getting involved with their staffers - one of many aspects of male behaviour more honoured in the breach than the observance.

It could have been worse, they could have released nude photos of Hillary Clinton or Teresa May.

So many elected officials in the US seem to have these secret lives. In the past decade or so we saw not one but two arrested for soliciting gay sex from strangers in public bathrooms, and another writing love letters ti his young underage male intern. And the former speaker of the senate was outed as a lifelong pedophile. And those are just the ones off the top of my head
I suspect that in the US system, the hidden moneyed powers that choose candidates purposely select and attempt to elevate candidates that are easily compromised and therefore easier to coerce.

As per Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich, and Donald Trump this kind of behaviour indicates a person with terrible character. Maybe it's not a disqualifier for seeking office but it's certainly a warning sign that a person who acts poorly in their personal life will behave exactly the same in their public life. UPDATE: Hill resigned today. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/rep-ka ... th-stafferIt was the right thing to do. If she'd been a Republican she just would have doubled-down the way they all do when caught doing something stupid, gross, or illegal. "You think I should resign? No, YOU resign first! MAGA!".

One of the problems here was the staffer angle. It is flat out wrong to have a sexual relationship with a young member of your staff.

Even democrat politicians have to publicly profess their devout christianity and pretend they go to church every Sunday.
