An Ottawa man who has taught Sunday school to children was charged with human trafficking after police say he sexually exploited a 15-year-old girl.

Russett confirmed that the man has been involved with the church for the past five years, and that the man's wife is the childrens' pastor at the church.

Cite the passage in the Bible or quote a Christian leader (just one!) who says that Christian men can molest teenage girls.

If you can then you're right that there's a double standard. If not then man up and admit you're wrong.

I suspect that if the person was anything other than a Christian, your tune would be different. If not, I apologize.

Even if there is no passage in there about this specifically, I'd be even more concerned. Despite not being told do commit such acts, they are commonplace in the church.

Pretty desperate to set up a false equivalency there, CBC and OtI.

I would guess the fact this guy was caught with cocaine would have more to do with his pimping (if that's even what it turns out to be) than however many times he might have taught a Sunday school class.

John W Gacy used to dress up as a clown to perform at children's parties, but it wasn't his clown ideology that initiated a mindset encouraging, authorizing or excusing his child killing.

It just made it easier to exploit his pose as a magician to trick his victims into handcuffs.

A criminal can exploit the culture. It's not the same thing as when the culture exploits the criminal. Mohammed was a raping, slaving pedophile and his religion presents him as the perfect example.
