This long into the social media age, like fifteen-plus years since Facebook appeared, it's kind of a dereliction of duty to not do a quick search of someone's activity online to see how much of a dick they've been behaving under their own name. I can see the government departments really not caring about the money given they have so much of it but you'd think by now they'd do some sort of basic detective work just to spare the bureaucracy the embarrassment later on. Like, do the simple search today so it doesn't come out tomorrow that they've been funding some sort of psychopath.
