Russia spreading pro-Brexit, anti-EU propaganda in the UK ahead of the referendum while Boris Johnson and his goons wilfully and deliberately turn a blind eye

Not that we didn’t already know this but at least it’s now official

Russia has been very effective at driving a wedge in between any two political sides, especially in the US.

Three cheers for former Tory MP Julian Lewis who stood against his own party’s choice to lead the Intelligence and Security Committee in order to get this report published at long last and was kicked out of his party as a result:

https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-53422010

Given the nature of its work, the committee has traditionally attempted to be non-partisan and judge security threats on their merits. It should be no news to anyone that dodgy Russian money has been pouring into Britain and brings a significant risk.

This is what politicians in all countries need to do - stand up when their party is clearly doing the wrong thing. They’re a pension-gathering waste of space otherwise.

And what Russia has been fanning the flames of, besides the political rift, is that these people are unpatriotic if they don't fall into lock step with their party. Look at how many people think that Party A is the one they follow, so anything Party B does is so reprehensible that doing it would be a tragic consequence to the country.

Even if it's something like sending kids back to school, and making sure that environment is Covid safe. Something that should be a no-brainer, but because one party supports it, the other cannot.

Not having another French or German dominated empire on Russia's western front is a good thing for Russia. I'm not going to argue this point with them because they've got legitimate reasons to fear an authoritarian Europe that will have a sizable military and nuclear weapons.

I'm also happy for the UK to be free of the Euroweenies.

What? You’re equating modern Europe with Putin’s Russia?

The Russians and the Chinese have the same dog in this fight, instability.

They just don't care about the issue. They just want to sow the seeds of rebellion to keep the powers that be looking to their own back yards and putting out fires while they have a free hand to carry on their own agenda.

ROTFL

EU is authoritarian not Russia. EU is global aggressor not Russia. Russias attacks on the west are justifiable defensive measures. Russia is a free society rightfully fearful of “authoritarian” EU regimes.

Oh and suddenly Europe has a “sizeable military“ that threatens Russia after your years of bitching that Europe has no military and doesn’t contribute its fair share to NATO

Do you get paid in rubles to post this horsehit pro-Kremlin apologist propaganda or what????

Pathetic
