Well do not comment much but this is an entertaining argument. Hate to say it but both of you are in fact correct and incorrect at the same time. Now do not take my word for it but I did live in Eastern Pretoria (Tshwane) for 4 years from 2012 until 16.

Have found that people that are not familiar with SA base all their knowledge on post/news/reports that are provided by the 10% at either end of the spectrum. That being the 10% black population that wants the whites out and the 10% white population that think they are fighting some sort of genocide.

Go to South Africa take in the sights, I put on over 30,000k on my motorcycle down there, drank beer in shebeens in townships, did game drives though parks and thoroughly enjoyed the rainbow nation. Do not base you opinion on media, Facebook or you tube. Read expat forums on people who have moved and retired there. Always remember the extreme white will scream genocide and the extreme black with scream kill the boer.

He says a race war is coming. I think he's planning to fight it. I don't know how correct he is in the totality of his thinking and even though I heard you say his type wasn't to be listened to by nature of his speaking on YouTube he's convinced me South Africa is not a place I want to go for a motorcycle-tour vacation under the current political climate.

White South African farmers “deserve special attention” from Australia due to the “horrific circumstances” of land seizures and violence, Peter Dutton has said.

The home affairs minister told the Daily Telegraph on Wednesday his department was examining a range of methods to fast-track their path to Australia on humanitarian or other visa programs.

South Africa’s new president, Cyril Ramaphosa, is pursuing a policy of appropriating farm lands without compensation for redistribution to black South Africans.

The policy has led to reports, including in the Australian media, that white farmers are being murdered at a rate of more than one per week.

“If you look at the footage and read the stories, you hear the accounts, it’s a horrific circumstance they face,” Dutton said.

The home affairs minister noted Australia has refugee, humanitarian and other visa programs which have the “potential to help some of these people”. He said he had asked his department to look at the options “because from what I have seen they do do need help from a civilised country like ours”.

“The people we’re talking about want to work hard, they want to contribute to a country like Australia,” Dutton said.

“We want people who want to come here, abide by our laws, integrate into our society, work hard, not lead a life on welfare. And I think these people deserve special attention and we’re certainly applying that special attention now.”

Dutton suggested options included the in-country persecution visa category, and to bring them to Australia on humanitarian visas via referrals from others in Australia.

He said the home affairs department was looking at ways to help “some of these horrific cases” and suggested an announcement could be made shortly.

Asked if this could be achieved with the South African government’s cooperation, Dutton replied Australia “can work with governments all around the world”.

Translation: The ANC wants to kill all the white people after they take their land. Can't kill the white people if they flee to a civilized country like Australia.

Kind of right out of the old Nazi playbook. They'd let Jews leave but only after they'd hand over all their money and property to the Reich. The SA government is probably doing the same in writing the new law so that the state ends up as the only possible beneficiary of anyone trying to leave. This way the land can't be sold to anyone else, like to a neighbouring farmer or an agricultural corporation.
