Well, the article worked for me. This is just an observation, and I know we've spoke of this point in other threads. But it seems, if history doesn't go the way Americans like it, it is either rewriten, or forgotten about. I'm not trying to be nasty or anything, but isn't that the way it seems?

It makes sense from an U.S. business perspective as the American public can't seem to identify with other than Americans in the lead roles but this rewriting of history is getting more than ridiculous.

I say the rest of the movie making world should return the favor, I'm sure the French would be up to it. :)

Just like that STUPID movie U-571 where the Yanks got the Enigma machine..LMAO Ya RIGHT ! It was a Britsh ship the HMS Bulldog that did it, not the Yankls, but now the American public will think that THEY did it... At the end of the movie they had a very small disclaimer saying that it was the Bulldog, but how many stay to watch all that shit at the end of a movie?? yur right!, not many

Shouldn't the Canadian film industry be making their own historical movies. Why leave it up to the Americans to tell the stories you want to hear, and the way you want to hear them? Don't bitch about it, Do Something!

By the way most people who go see historical films don't come out thinking that was exactly the way it happened. It's usually war history buffs who go check them out in the first place. And as for a "Canada Liberating Holland" film in the US......riiiight!

To make it a short explanation Hollywood is on the money business not the truth business.. Sometimes the truth dont sell tickets as well
