I really respect Stallone for doing this, I was reading or watching one of his interviews and really cant remember which was it, but basically he said he give preference to actors of his action genre generation who are trouble or not getting much lately with his expendable series, did that with with JVCD and Arnold in 2 and good to hear about Mel in 3.

Such a shame about Mel, a very talented artist in his field, loved and watched most of his movies many times over, Man without a face, Bird on a wire and the whole lethal weapon series plus many more like Air America and props to Downey junior too for that as well.

Catching up on some films thanks to the magic of i*****l d*******s. So far:

Man Of Steel - good, Cavill and Shannon were great, but I want to see a directors cut that will probably be even better.
Riddick - terrific, best one of the series so far, plus a Katee Sackoff boob made a welcome appearance. [drool]
World War Z - alright in a way, ending kind of sucked though, still think they should have called it something else, probably wouldn't waste time watching it again.
The Purge - fairly terrible, interesting concept (especially the very obvious slam against the 1%-ers) plus Lena Headey, but no real need to ever look at it again under any circumstance.

My monetary trade-off to Hollywood will be that I'll watch them for free once. If I like it I'll buy a DVD or Blu-Ray later, especially a more expensive director's cut with all the deleted footage restored. Aside from that those crooks down there in the Gomorrah of the west coast can all GFT. :mrgreen:

I downloaded my first. :( I tried to rent, but there are no rental places in town anymore, and Netflix doesn't have it.

The Wolverine. Not bad. A decent adaptation of the best comic mini series ever. I'll have to buy it now, if I can hold my nose long enough to go into Best Buy or someplace.

R=UP

Watching a downloaded copy of Olympus Has Fallen made me buy a copy of it. It was far better than I expected. While I don't buy all the movies I download, I do buy a fair number of them - and the studios typically make more on the DVDs than they do on the theatrical release.
