Erinites, it is soooo encouraging to see a woman that doesn't like Leo DiCaprio. My faith in humanity has been restored somewhat.

Perhaps, cosidering Arthur Miller died today, you could watch The Crucible or Death of a Salesman. Both excellent movies.

You know, in all honesty, I don't think he's that bad of an actor. I mean yeah, it's kind of lame when people just like him because of how he looks, but I don't think he's all that bad of an actor, I mean there's people who are far worse.

Of course, I mainly liked the titanic because of the reproduction of the ship and such, but I wouldn't say he ruined the movie or anything.

Death of a salesman sounds like a plan although extremely hard to find in my backassward, rural community local "BETA" rental shoppe.
The Crucible...well I have always considered "The Salem Witch Burnings" as the women's holocaust.
Just MHO.
I thank you for making me aware Of Arthur Miller's passing. :(

...hmm...Garden State has Natalie Portman. A broad I'm rather fond of... 8)

And yeah, when someone famous reminds you of someone you know and dislike it can be pretty weird. There's a famous painting by Manet. A nude. When I first saw it my face nearly fell off because the girl in it had a scary resemblance to an ex-girlfriend. Freaked me right out! 8O

7- M*A*S*H (Altman)
8- Vertigo (Hitchcock)

Top 5 movies? Tough one, I’ll go by genre to make it fairer to the picks

Sci-Fi

1. The Holy Trilogy (see Lucas)
2. The other Holy Trilogy (see Jackson)
3. Aliens
4. The Matrix (the 1st movie)
5. 2001 / Blade Runner

Action

1. Raiders of the Last Ark
2. Saving Private Ryan
3. Top Gun
4. 13th Warrior
5. Terminator

Comedy

1. Back to the Future
2. Ghostbusters
3. Anything Kevin Smith
4. Fletch
5. Beverly Hills Cop I and II / Forrest Gump

Cult

1. Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
2. Donnie Darko
3. Clerks
4. Evil Dead Series
5. Swingers

The list is in no particular order and I wholeheartedly acknowledge that I likely missed many, many films (that’s my fault) when compiling the list.

I'll have to rip off Mustang1's style and break it down into categories:

Sci-Fi:

1. Matrix Trilogy
2. Lord of the Rings
3. Star Wars (George, much like your gut, your popularity is sagging...)
4. 2001.
5. Bladerunner
(Honourable Mentions: Dark City, Donnie Darko and the Thirteenth Floor)

Comedy:

1. Fish Called Wanda
2. Ghostbusters
3. Fletch
4. Clerks
5. Napoleon Dynamite
(Honourable Mentions: Ace Ventura, South Park BLU and Anchorman)

Action/Adventure:

1. Raiders of the Lost Ark
2. Bad Boys I&II (At least BB2 cleansed the taste of Pearl Harbour, f'n Michael Bay)
3. Gladiator
4. Spiderman
5. X-Men 2.

Cult:

1. UHF
2. Mystery Science Theatre 3000
3. Army of Darkness
4. X-Files Fight the Future
5. Robocop

I watched 9 1/2 Weeks earlier this evening. What an absolutely hollow, pretentious, empty, vacuous piece of crap!! :x Pure shite!

Kim Basinger was hot, though.

Sorry, this post went counter to topic... I had to vent!
