Sitting around, bored, I decided to make one of these post, so everyone can talk about their top 5 favorite movies.

I would have to say mine are:

The Shining
2001 - A Space Odyssey
Ghost in the Shell
Apocalypse Now
Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas

Feel free to label any other movies you like, I mean people can have top 100 list, you know.

Repo Man
Straight to Hell
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (it'd be higher, but Thompson's work is best left to books)
The Wild Bunch

1.Twelve O' Clock High;A great movie about leadership, and how decent Americans used to be.
2.Monty Python And The Search For The Holy Grail;Afterall, religion and politics can be funny!
3.Blade Runner; To me,it's still a beautiful movie after all these years.
4.Dr. Strangelove;"Mein Furher;I can walk!"- Just goes to show that even former Nazis can find work in America.
5.2001:A Space Odyssey;Because one of the monkeys in the beginning of the movie reminds me of Karra.Oh-and I love the ground-breaking special effects too.

You know what movie is messed up? Natural born killers. I don't know how many of you have seen it, but I had the luck of not knowing about the movie, and a friend putting it in while I was tripping my ass off on acid. Nobody told me anything about it, and all I know is suddenly they started killing people, and the way they set up the camera and do cool effects is great.

What should be made, by all of us who like to take "trips" is a nice little list of movies that will trip you out.

I would have to say some of the best are:

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
Alice in Wonderland
Movies about Nuclear bomb testing, such as Atomic Cafe, Nuclear 911, Nukes in Space(when they test bombs in space, it creates this cool Northern lights kind of effect)Trinity and beyond,

In no real order, and out of boredom, I'll go ahead and list my movie collection, maybe you all could comment, give some of your own movies, whatever. I love movies, and always like to hear about new ones.

Brazil

A clockwork Orange
Ghost in the shell
The shining
Godzilla, King of monsters
wide angle - North korea(documentary)
What dreams may come

28 days later
Alice in wonderland
Friday the 13th
Predator
Nosferatu(sucks)
Gummo
apocalypse Now
Truman Show
12 Monkeys

I have the book "The Stand", but I have yet to read it, although I've heard it's real good. Forrest Gump rules. That has to be one of the best movies, and Tom Hanks is a great actor.

Yeah, they aren't really movies, but I was just typing as I went, and thought they would be cool to add. I mean, they have so many lights going on, and pictures in the backround, that you could consider it a movie

I never got to see them live(too young)but they are by far my favorite band to watch live, other than Jimi Hendrix. I suppose you could put the concerts in the documentary file. I mean, if Michael Moores films are considered movies, why not a piece of history on film such as a pink floyd or Hendrix concert?

By the way, what has happened to music nowadays? Where's all the Jimi Hendrix type of guitarist, or pink floyd type of bands nowadays? I mean, all artist have liked to make money, but couldn't any bands nowadays please make good music? No offense towards those of you that think music nowadays kicks ass, but I just can't stand alot of it.
