Anyone else having fun filing their Canadian taxes this year?? I am getting the most horrid headache :S

heh, thats why i scanned my T4's and send them to my mom, she still always does my taxes.

My dad does my taxes. :D He showed me how to do them in case I wanted to do it myself... yeah right.

The way things are looking, all mt wife and I have to worry about is investment income. Rev Canada can go screw themselves again. :D

I haven't had to file for CDN. taxes in years ... last time was in 92.

Tax forms here are filled out for you & then sent by mail, all you need to do is double check your statements (which employers, tax authorities, banks, Pension, etc are send out) :D

Aren't canadian taxes substantially less than Swedish taxes. You have to pay for that cradle to the grave socialism in Sweden somehow(at least that used to be the case).

lol not making any money does have its benefits, I get money back every year and I have 80k in tax credits if I ever do make money :)

Shepherdsdog my taxes this year are pretty much just investment returns as well. It was hard wrapping my head around the whole Partnership forms, but I got there in the end. lol

I was watching CTV this morning and they say how Canada has the highest tax's in the civilized world.

Higher than Britain's?? ?I find that so hard to believe. EVERYTHING is taxed here. Road tax, petrol tax, VAT, vehicle tax, council tax. I'm surprised they don't tax for breathing. Seriously.
