Cant IMAGINE what it would feel like standing on that beach 8O

It was a once in a lifetime experience.... very moving.

Had the advantage of being cloudy and cold that day.. 18C

Beach was empty, very quiet.. serene.. time to think and remember those

brave young men.

something i will remember for the rest of my life.

yes, more people will see it, but.......................... its not where it should be.

If they put it on there because it was move visable, they really blew it since the Juno Centre would be right in from of it. :lol:

One of the guys I know who landed with the Regina's on D-Day told me if I ever meet a Winnipeg Rifle, that I shold tell them to get their monument of the Regina's beach......then would laugh like a school girl.

Very moving.
I grew up inbetween 2 graveyards and the memory of all those rotting wooden cross's with PFC on them will never leave me.Kids that went and died and were brought home and then forgotten.

Very moving,nice pics.Thanks.
