Now imagine you lived in Langley and couldn't see the mountains due to pollution. That's the sad reality of the air quality here in Kaohsiung. However, today was one of those rare 6 days we get a year, that we can actually see the mountains to the east. The air often gets thick enough that you can barely make out Wanshou Shan(a huge coral formation) to the west( a distant 5 km from my house. Well we've moved back into warmer weather(32 C today) and the UV(12 today) is burning away the pollution for now. So for now we clean air, warm weather and relatively low humidity.

Sounds dreadful. I'm too used to using the mountains for weather forecasting, if you can't see them, its raining, if you can, its going to rain.

I have no mountains, only Detroit outside my window. It'd be cool to see a picture though Shep

Brenda and I live in BC, mountains everywhere. At least I live where snow is not common at the base of the mountains, though 4 metres or so on top is very common.

dont have such problems in Alicante.

How a city of 300,000 can be created with zero industry is beyond me,

but here it is.. biggest thing around here is shoes.. and expats buying

property around the city.. weird.

cleanest air i've had for years.
