Not to vear off the subject at hand but.... If it was for Call of Duty instead, I would join in a second. Although I might check BF when it comes out. But seriously, COD is awesome

But seriously, COD is awesome What server do you usually go on and whats your player name? Actually, I usually play with a bunch of friends on a local server. I always wanted to check out there for servers and so on.... But for now I do enjoy our little group (guess you could call it practice for when I go online with the big boys lol !!!!!) Actually if you have any advice on which servers to go or any other info, it would be welcomed.

well i love COD as well. but a little late for it, plus will take time to get things organized.
But the CKA Clan does not have to be only BF2. Call of Duty 2 comes out in the Fall!

One last question about COD. Canadaka, it seems you have played both games, which one in your opinion is the coolest? (also best graphics, game plan and so forth....) I ask because I am a fan of the COD game but never played Battlefield. If the new BF is coming out soon, I may give it a shot.

In my opinion, Is that COD is more squad based and realistic. More weapons and better graphics and sound. Battlefield 1942 lets you command more vehicles and is more army based as well as taking and defending points to win the map. Kinda like Base Assault on COD but much better. You can even command battleships and fly planes. I like BT1942 most because it seems more spread out and more free. COD just seems like a Saving Private Ryan or Band of Brothers game.

In the new BF 1942 Desert Combat mod..DCX0.8.."The British are Coming" you can fly an Avro Arrow! I always crash. 
I think BF and C.O.D. can really be compared...BF you can fly planes..drive tanks..jeeps..A.P.C.'s...hilo's...all kinds of ships...etc. Wher as C.O.D. is basicly an Infantry game...grab yer gun...off ya go!

Not even sure if many people play BF1942 much anymore, can anyone confirm this? Also, you will need a fairly high end machine for BF1942, Ram and Vid card.

LOL....I was playing it earlier...some of those boys online can really fly those choppers....saw a guy pick up and transport a tank with a hilo. I didn't know you could do that!

Seems pretty cool. About the expansion pack for COD (United Offensive) you can now drive tanks and Jeeps on the Multiplayer settings. But BF seems pretty neat so.... I'll give it a shot when the new one comes out.
