Holy crap... that's amazing... pretty funny when he drops the guy off on the planet with no atmosphere.

This is a game I'd really really enjoy... more my style, as opposed to the Civ games...

No worries, I figured linking the original was easier. I like the fact that is is a single player game and expands to a multi-player game and that both sides are exclusive but interchangeable. He does say procedurally generated A LOT. I think the best bit was the nuking of the planet.

This does look like it couls be a very cool game. It got the cover of January's 2007 PCGamer. They say it could be one of the top 10 games of '07.

Release date is supposedly set for Q2 2007

I watched the whole video and I am impressed. Not only does it look addictive but would be a good learning tool for kids to teach them about evolution and survival of the fittest.

I hear the cell phones and Wii ports were the hold up due to licensing. The PC version was ready to roll 6 moths ago. All this polish should make for a killer game.
