This looks friggin SWEEEEET: http://www.medalofhonor.com/game/medal-of-honor. I just hope the solo version is not a disappontment like Airborne was. Beautiful graphics, great intensity but as short as the console games. Finished it in 5 hours. The multiplayer version is brought to you by the same fine folks that gave us Battlefield Bad Company 2

Looks great!
MOHAA is still one of my favourite FPS games. I just wish these games had a more international flavour, instead of just USA, USA, USA all the time.

Actually, they have a title in the franchise called Resistance where you play as a French Resistance operative. It was the 2nd title in the franchise. I agree with your USA, USA sentiment though, although the Medal of Honor IS an American award.

I'm aware that the MH is an American award, I'd just like to see a bigger variety of skins in multi-player mode, that's all. It'd be cool if there was a JTF skin for this game, but I won't hold my breath (I'll bet there will be an SAS skin).
In MOHAA, there were a dozen US skins, a dozen German skins and only a handful of other skins. Expansion packs added more, but no one ever added a Canadian skin.

I lost interest in the 'scripted' FPS games because every time you played them it was the very same game experience. MMO is about the only way I roll anymore. You can play the same game map 1,000 times and every time you play is a unique experience. I'm sure this MoH is fun, but when I'm done with a scripted game I usually give it away. BF2, in contrast, I've been playing for near six years.

MoH Airborne has an on-line version of it too, that's why I think they cheaped out on the number of maps for the solo content. If this new one IS MMO-ish, then I can see it being real popular, though I dunno who'd wanna play the "taliban" in it

Well, in the original MoH the game engine was the same as 'Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force' and you could import the weapons files back and forth. So it was fun to play through both games again when you could land at Normandy and use photon torpedoes and disruptors on the Germans and when you could use the BAR on the Borg.

So like BF2 has the same game engine as a couple EA football games and you can import the vehicles into the football games and, vice versa, use a football stadium as a game map.

IMO its a bad business move to release a new title so soon after they've just released BC2 why have two titles with the same genre/fps style compete against each other it's just koo-koo.
The game looks sweet no doubt, but I'm still playing, enjoying and working on BC2. Now I know why there hasn't been very many patches for BC2 they've been working on this release. BC2 is great but needs some a little fix'n.

I dunno, maybe the location for the game setting will be the big selling feature for the game, considering...

Same here, I tried the story line in BC2 because I wanted to get the feel of the weapons etc. But then realized quickly, fuck it I can get the feel for the weapons while I'm pWn'n nubs.
