The first one was shit, good graphics and everything but the game-play was utter shit. Single Player was a hassle to attempt to do, not the campaign but attempting to get a skirmish up. You had to make a lan server.
Multi-player is complete shit, the game modes suck ass and further more with the crappy ass game modes. As soon as a team get a nuke. It's all over. You're entire forces just get destroyed and the enemy can move in on your control points and it's just game over from there. There is no tactics involved in the game. You just get a limited ammount of resources for a couple of tanks or some infantry and just keep attacking and than waiting for the ridiculously slow money gain so you can purchase more troops after your troops were whiped out in the first few seconds.
The only good part of this game was the campaign but it was really short. They could have done a really good job with this game by making a Company of Heroes type modern warfare game. Completly different but the same idea.
I mean company of heroes would have been a shitty game if every joe smuck could whipe the entire map with a nuke or whipe our your teams entire military with one jet strike.
CoH had tactics, players had to use there units wisely and the game-player was a lot more fun.
Theres no way in hell I am ever buying this game. Infact I got the original WiC game if anybody wants to buy it off of me?

I actually did decent in muli-player. 46% win rate. Me losing the majority of the time has no effect of the fact the game-play is shit and that it's a crappy game.

I agree with a lot of your critique of the game but I have to say the single player was intense. True, it was too short but it was quality over quantity. The multi-player was ok and it made it so you could easily join a game and get right into the action but you are right in that once tactical points allow for the nuke it really is game over as long as you have team mates that are not total idiots.
Still, the graphics were great and the controls were not as bad as other RTS I have tried. The real topper was the xmas scene and New York with shadow on the sun:

Yeah, I'm getting this game right when it comes out. WiC was pure awesome, even though I don't really explore multiplayer aspects. I agree Bacardi that the Skirmish mode was rather difficult to discover, and should be tweaked a bit, but beyond that...pure awesome. I just wished they add more urban maps.

Well, its a swedish game developer so Im sure its quality But Ive actually never played it. Ill have to look into the first one before the second one is released.
