when I'm in public places, every younger person I see has to be entertained by something. My entertainment is internal. When I'm on the bus, I'm arranging my day. Planning what to make for dinner. What I'm going to do in the garden on the weekend. What I'm going to turn that pile of wood cutoffs into. Things I couldn't think about if I had music blaring in my ears.
