Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
Well, those environmentalist girls in the second video have absolutely no idea how to debate or carry an intellectual argument, which is a shame. Probably could fight their cause just fine if they learnt more then what their free T-Shirts from Greenpeace said.

I wish people would be more then just incredibly catchy phrases and chants. On all sides.

Silly kids.

I find 95% of activist for anything generally cannot debate. They get together in big groups yell and scream, but the moment they are forced to defend their views against someone who has given it some thought they generally fail and resort to yelling and screaming then storming off. They have only so many scripted responses, all you need to do is make them use them up. Then watch their face go red as you ask them questions they cannot answer and point out all the flaws with their responses.

Your point is valid - although i'd extend that to ideologues of all stripes.

Classic case of idiots vs idiots. The protesters here are naive and don't really understand why a parallel can be drawn (accurate to some degree imo) between them and the Hitler Youth.

On the other hand I believe it was Lord Moncton who once suggested that people with AIDS should be held in 'kindler, gentler' concentration camps.

I doubt those kids didn't know who he was. They just marched into that meeting to disrupt it with their automaton chanting, not to make their case.

His other point was to offend them as he was offended for interrupting his meeting.

I believe he used the term quarantine, not concentration camps.

It was kind of dirty of the controllers of those poor, indoctrinated kids not to share their own personal, number 1 rule with them on dealing with Christopher Monckton.

'You don't debate Monckton in public, because he'll make you look like an idiot'

And here's what Monckton actually said about AIDs.

I've always wondered that about the whole HIV/AIDS crisis in the 70s and 80s. Why wasn't there a quarantine put into place against people who were known to have the disease?

Likely because it's spread by a deliberate activity as opposed to casual contact.
