GA-FuBaR GA-FuBaR:
Are you serious?
Think of the implementations?
How long did they dance through the U.N. before getting into Iraq?
Their forces are over worked and stretched too thin. A large majority of the troops there are resverists who have fulfilled their commitment and are ready to go home? After seeing what went on in Iraq and what still is do you think they are going to draw a large amount of recruits? They are going to have implement the draft which will piss everyone off. That would surely cause Canada's population to go up a bit. Theres just to much stuff you "war mongerers" dont realize that goes into this stuff.

Everyone please take note......... this is what a spoiled younger brother sounds like that has a tough older brother who will always stick up for him. I think you uderestimate the silent majority in America. John Kerry did.

"jewnited states " this phrase is just ugly Fedup. Why use it?
The idea only the Americans should have nukes is silly. the europeans have plenty like the british vangurds and the french deterrant. I find the idea Israel has them distyrbing given the hawkish mentality of some of it's governments. the cop analofy is a frequent one in terms of America. The problem is not everybody shares that opinion and thats where the problem arise. Some see the cop as a storm trooper . I think the nukes should be gotten rid of except for a few to defend agaisnt asteroid strikes and similar contingencies. The Americans simply want to hold a monopoly on the armageddon wepaons and a lot of the world does not accept that. India and pakistan are just now discoverring how expensive and useless nuclear wepaons are. The Americans would do a lot better in terms of defending their viital interests by reducing their ridiculously oversized deterrant and spending more on conventional forces and foriegn aid.
"And yeah go and straighten them out too, it's just a hop skip and a jump from Iraq, i say do it on the way home." this is just more stupid shit.
Cheers

I totally agree with all of the points you just made. Firstly, why should the Americans be allowed to hold a almost complete monopoly on nukes? Other countries have just as much right to develop WMDs as America and its allies. The US policy is as follows: Iraq is attempting to bring themselves up to our level of weapons advancement, surely the minute they get their hands on a WMD they will give it to Osama or make the very "Strategic" move of nuking New York with their "massive weapons delivery platforms"-Bullshit. We must call on the UN to invade.
Oh they refused, lets spit in the face of an organization that we created and do exactly what it was set up to prevent, cause a war. Lets invade anyway...so they did. -End of story

I also think that the Americans are too politically correct with nations that they should be concerned with, like Saudi Arabia, after all wasn't the entire basis of the US to fight against tyrannical monarchy, or was that just a cover to seize power? I draw your attention to Iran, 1979. US ally, Oil-Rich, Monarchy with suppressed arab factions. Saudi Arabia is an Islamic Republic waiting to happen.

Why were you people proposing an invasion of Iran anyway? Was it the nuclear ambitions? Pakistan. Was it the evil government? Saudi Arabia.
Or was it the rising price of black gold? It seems that Americans are all too willing to give up their very dearest principles when it means politcal correctness, a key ally or even a little extra green back into their pockets.

I bet you Americans will have something to say about that, I will check my forums on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Fridays.

I hope they do invade Iran. You people that are saying that the US military is "too far stretched" and whatnot simply do not know what you are talking about. Also, if they do invade Iran it will not likely be a full-blown occupation like Iraq.

How successful the election has been in the grand scheme of things remains to be seen. The actual act of holding the elections worked (only a few dozen people were killed) but as for ensuring Iraq's future political stability, it's very uncertain.

Then how is it a screw up if it is still "uncertain"?
