But the big story is lack of snow. First November without snow since 1928. No precipitation in the 2 week forecast either. Farmers don't lose crops in November, but it's not looking good for spring and forest fire season.

Not getting quite that here, +or- 3 in central BC.
Shovelled a couple inches off the driveway yesterday, my back's still paying for it.
Unable to hire someone, kids won't do actual work for money, guys with tractors quoted $100 to do a forty foot long driveway.
Last few year I shovel a walking path to the car door and thank God I own a Wrangler!
