I hope everyone has a wonderful x-mas, while working at compusmart all day tomorrow, and boxing day i will be dealing with last minute christmas shoppers and working my butt off for the next little while.

I won't be online much due to the fact that my computer basically decided to call it quits and stop loading windows after a particular time and reboot right after it gets started up but whatever, apparently it's a problem with the crappy IBM motherboards, so whether or not it gets paid for by ibm that's ok with me. my other computer in the closet currently does not have a working power supply so we are out of commission for the net for a little while.

Have a wonderful holiday and may your christmas be one of the happiest times with your family, loved ones and friends. oh yeah, and happy new year to everyone.

Everybody have a dandy x-mas, especially those of you who have to work. I used to do that retail thing, so I know about Christmas Ee and Boxing Day and when I was a tech I had to drive to Sioux Lookout and back (about 5-1/2 hours each way) to fix a machine (about 15 minutes work) on Boxing Day.

Blubs...quit worrying about me, man. I'm down to two packs a day, I've cut back to two pots of coffee a day, and I rarely do tequila shots before breakfast anymore. People have been predicting my imminent demise for at least 25 of my 39 years and they haven't been right yet. 8)

Well Merry Ho Ho, and all that stuff I'm a commercial roofer, working in roof maintenance, so I get one day off, that being the 25th and I fully expect to get a call to go find a leak, cuz it seems like there are atleast 300 leaks a day in this city.
This is the first year in about 10 that I haven't had 2 weeks paid off. What really peeves me off is the fact that I still have no money. Oh well, you'll have that I guess.
I think that you guys that have to stand at a cash register, or walk around a store and try and sell overpriced stuff to people should find yourself lucky. Even if it is on Christmas eve, or boxing day.

I have to be 60 or 80 ft up on a roof in the rain with 30 mile an hour winds trying to find a hole on a 900 square roof that some idiot put there when he dropped his screw gun and forget to mention to anybody. Then when I find the thing, I get to try and keep it dry long enough to patch it.

Merry Christmas.

Maybe roofing isn't your thing, you should come join me in my cooshy retail job. Today i had someone smash and throw a CD at me and another person told me they were going to kill me, over an XBOX. I still have the spirit tho! Never forget what Christmas is all about.

Hey Westie, too bad you aren't in Belleville. I'd fix it for you. Anyway, a gal from out in Calgary, Cori Chandler re-did one of our Christmas songs very nicely this year. It isn't available on media, but it is at http://corichandler.com/christmas.html

Some thoughts at this joyful time of year :

Royal Highlander - Know you've been busy, but we all miss you.Happy holidays to you and Katherine.

Bad Ass Bookie - Glad you got back to green, green Canada.

Blubs - A real nice guy, what more can I say? I'm probably not more Canadian than any other Canadians -I just have Canadian tendencies.

Rev Blair - Thanks for teaching me the word "pig fucker" - I've discovered that it has so many wonderful uses. And please keep shinning that bright light on the roaches whenever and wherever they try to hide.

Beckie - I'm going to try to find some nude pictures of George Bush to send you, so please be patient. And from now on, whenever I think about all the things that are wrong with Canada, I'll be sure to remember you. Cheers!

Polemarch - You'll be glad to hear that I killed a couple of squirrels who were trained by Al Qaeda in my back yard recently; I sent them back to Allah - so I'm sure that brings you some happiness. P.S. Happy Hanuka!

Twila - What can I say? I think you are delicious in every way.Although I've never sampled you in person, I'd guess you taste of maple syrup.I wish I could find a wizard who could change me into a rat - Electric Rodent has a nice ring to it ,eh?

NonRev - Have always enjoyed your posts, and I'd say we agree on quite a bit.Keep up with the posting.

IronMike - Wherever you are - I don't agree with you 3/4 of the time, but miss you all the same.Hope all is well with you and yours.

Absolut SS - Well , I've always considered you to be a couple of french fries short of a happy meal, but your "interesting" views make for lively debate on the forums.Don't forget to take your meds, and happy holidays wherever you are.

Trevor - Great site man! And it's been a good place for me to vent and get perspective -plus it's alot cheaper than therapy! No matter what bad things happen next year , we still have a new U2 album to look foward to.BTW, the new Battlestar Galactica hits Canada's space channel Jan 7th - I think you'll be impressed.

WestieLee - After you get your computer fixed - Post more! we don't hear from you very often.

Figfarmer - enjoy your posts.Happy holidays

MaritimePride - Glad you and family got back to God's country. Please continue to Keep us updated on the unique linguistic abilities of George Bush

Gangrenous - Happy holidays to you and your family, How are things in Pa.?

As for the rest of you, Happy holidays and let's hope for a better new year!
