I have found out that in the French quarter, here is a cheese shop that imports French raw milk runny, stinky cheese. Down the street is a bakery owned by a French guy, who supposedly makes fantastic Baguette. I will let you know what I discover.

Did Prime Rib for Xmas dinner, none of us like turkey much.
Dessert was Spumoni ice cream or Gulabjamun.
Food bigot friends wouldn't even try 'foreign' foods.
Pistachiosion ice cream and "Indian TimBits" just to weird for them.

(facepalm) guess I have to eat it all myself... awwww!

Went to a friends' for Boxing Day dinner. He made curried lamb, spinach with paneer. XD

That's for tomorrow.

Turkey is dry and has no taste, and I'm tired of pretending otherwise.

My wife made the best turkey. Then we'd keep enough to make a clubhouse the next day and send all the leftovers home with the guests.
Bleagh!
Even chicken breast is as dull as plain tofu.

Even if I brine poultry for a day, with herbs and garlic, it still has no taste.

Using a thermometer and butter is the only way to prevent dryness, but that that point you just have butter chicken.

That is my solution too! Just have Butter Chicken.
