What a great fight. All the fights that night were worth the PPV fee.

It's too bad the clip doesn't show Franklin's nose afterward cause it was very obvioulsy broken.

Yes indeed... I was very sure that this would be one of Franklins toughest tests. Most people aren't familiar with Anderson Silva since he's been fighting in Pride and Bushido (Japan) for the last 5+ years. He's an animal, and very dangerous with his Mui Thai... as he clearly demonstrated.

Rich's nose looked like it was wrapped around his face after that vicious knee, and it's doubtful that we'll see him fighting Silva in the near future. After being one of Dana's poster boys for so long, he will need to build him back up by fighting a few cans before they put him back int he ring with Silva.

Dana sure has his work cut out for him now... selling the public on a Brazilian beltholder who can't speak English. Yikes.

I would think this fight was a good sale to the fans. What better way to introduce a fighter who absoutely dominated a guy who hasn't lost in a long time.
