The Blue Jays win it 10-4 over Baltimore, taking the series 2-1 and keeping their game and a half lead over the NY Yankees, who also won their game earlier today against the Tampa Bay Rays 6-4. Tomorrow sees the Yankees playing the same Baltimore Orioles in New York while Toronto travels to Boston to start a 3 game series against the Red Sox prior to a trip to New York city for a 4 game series against the Yankees.

What a game today.....1-1 going into the 10th and Boston implodes.....final score 5-1 Blue Jays. The Orioles beat the Yankees 2-1 on a 9th inning homer giving the Blue Jays a game and a half lead again.

Dam I missed it, I'm trying to do a turn around on 1 of my rental properties, watching all this baseball is making it hard to do.
Seems like the only time I want to paint is when there's a game on.

What the Hell is it with Boston, both losses by the Jays are big time routs, 10-4 and 11-4 while the Jays win was only 5-1. I hope they have better luck in their 4 game series against the Yankees starting tomorrow.

I don't like the way Gibson is messing with the pitching, as soon as Sept arrived he changes the rotation. And not to sure if the Yankees are the team you want to throw the rookie into on Saturday.
Going to be a wild weekend.

You have to remember starting Sept 1 they are on the 40 man roster, bringing all the players they may want to use come the playoffs, so it's not only the pitchers that are going to be messed with. Although, I guess it's the pitchers which will have the biggest impact on things.

Maybe this Stroman experiment will become the Ken Dryden of baseball, he's pretty confident he's the next one.

Fabulous game by the Jays yesterday. Marcus Stroman will pitch in the second game of today's double-header. GO JAYS, GO!

WOW!! Game tied 5-5 in the 11th inning and thanks to the Yankee's pitching staff imploding the Blue Jays manage to score 4 runs, then hold off the Yankees in the bottom of the inning to take the game with a 9-5 score!!
And this was only game one of a double header......

I mentioned I didn't watch baseball until the bandwagon rolled by, I thought Stroman was a rookie that belew out his knee in spring training, who knew?
