my brother was up there doing it, I might do it next year.

It really doens't seem like much of a race though, my brother is superfit and competitive and thought it was a race. Still looks like fun though.

It isnt a Race, Trev, its a challenge, Commraderie (sp?) and teamwork. If you are interested, there is preregistration for next year and that way you get a discount...Aug 10 - 11 2013....

I recommend doing it [B-o]

lol just noticed this on my brothers Facebook.

"Yesterday i completed a 19 km tough mudder course twice. I wasvlucky enough to be in the first heat at 8 in the morning. I decided to hammer on it, and i was the first ever person to finish canadas first tough mudder! I finishef with a time of an hour and fourty two minutes and loved every minute of it. It wasnt quite as hard as i was expecting, but still pretty brutal. After a short 3 hour break i decided to acheive my other goal and went out for a 2nd loop on the tough muddet course. I trekked through it with my one on one fitness team and we had all 10 teammates make it over or through every obstacle! It took us over 4 hours, but it was a great time with them. 6 hours, close to 40 km of mudder running, i am now tired! But, no rest for the wicked, i am sitting the border crossing making my way to a 3 hour hare scramble dirt bike trail race! Aint no time like the present right!..."

I've seen the original japanese version. A lot of those guys are firefighters, cops, military and others who engage in hard physical activites.

The Japanese one is ridiculous to an extreme.

For those of you who haven't seen some of this.

Edit, that's the third stage of 4 total.

I was into it till I saw the hole cut in the ice. That's when my nuts retracted into my throat.
