Winnipeg’s mayor caught in chewing gum scandal

It's spreading!

$1:
The Winnipeg Free Press reports that sometime in mid-May, a Winnipeg woman saw the mayor [Sam Katz] take a piece of chewing gum out of his mouth and casually toss it onto the grass, showing a cavalier disregard for the city he governs and its grass lawns.

The Horror!

Well at least Sam isn't kicking a child in the face again...

And I'm looking forward to monkeys flying out of my ass. I'll wager you any amount you're stupid enough to agree to that Rob Ford will not be re-elected mayor of Toronto. Put your money where your mouth is.

That will be awful painful for you.

I'm looking forward to the mass crying from the lefties and watching monkeys fly out of your ass.

So the amount you're willing to wager on Ford's re-election is $0? That's what I figured. Let me know if you grow a pair.

Even Conservatives are distancing themselves from the family...

$1:
Ontario's Progressive Conservatives won't be championing embattled Toronto city Coun. Doug Ford, once seen as a promising high-profile name for the party, in any upcoming election.

"He is not our candidate," PC house leader Jim Wilson told a news conference today, referring to Ford's declarations last month that he was ready to enter provincial politics to face off against Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne.

raydan raydan:
andyt andyt:
$1:
The exodus of staff members from the office of scandal-embroiled Mayor Rob Ford continues.
Brian Johnston, Ford’s advisor on council relations, was walked down a second-floor stairwell and out of city hall by security.
More later

$1:
Brian Johnston, policy advisor to embattled Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, and Kia Nejatian, the mayor's executive assistant, have quit.

Link here and, yes, it's to a SUN article. Whatever's been going on in TO is now too big for even the SUN to ignore.

Maybe someone else can confirm this but I heard that the Toronto PD is holding some kind of press conference tomorrow that has everyone holding their breath. Anyone else know if this is true?

Seems he's more afraid a losing a Ford reelection bet than he is in your bet, Gunnair... not much of a vote of confidence on his part for Robby.

I wouldn't take either side of that bet because no one knows what the idiots in Toronto will do in the next election. Ford could either be dumped or win by a landslide.

In order for that to happen she would have to quit her job as an MP, but you knew that right.
