It seems these salad kits have been an issue on and off for years now.

If you boil your lettuce for an hour there shouldn't be a problem.

Like meat, e-coli only lives on the outside. When you grind it up, then it lives on the inside.

Just don't grind up your lettuce any more, and you should be good with just a rinse. Or cook lettuce to 75C to reduce the risk.

Why do they have to be 'let'? Around here, wild pigs are invasive. There are no seasons for invasive animals, and no daily limit.
