Born in Creignish, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Ashley MacIsaac became a famous Canadian fiddler.

His success blossomed through his teens and early twenties, but hit a snag as he succumbed to drug abuse.  His style became eratic, wild, and notoriously outlandish.

Ashley eventually settled down, married his male lover, and now (once again) produces quality music and videos.

His dancing and fiddle playing are well known and most recently was part of the Vancouver Olympics Opening Ceremony.
