The movie is about the 4 Bielski brothers who ran from the German occupation of Operation Barbarossa. Along the way they continue to pick up the most unfit and helpless refugees and somehow build camps in the forest. According to history , the saved 1200 people.
It’s a true story.
The movie was gritty and realistic. No one talked modern rubbish and there were no blacks or Asians for the sake of political correctness. The guns were all good and accuracy looked good to me bit I dearly wish someone, somewhere would teach people to unfold the stocks from the MP38s. Even the tank at the end was a reasonable PzKw-4.
Great movie, watched it twice. Once on an airplane then rented it so my wife could see it as well.
I highly recommend.
Lol. Another firearm fanatic.
I liked the fact that many of them (like the intelectual) were the worst possible folks you''d want .
yeah that was a fantastic movie like you said very gritty and realistic.
I think it is a hollywood thing for the weapon stocks to stay folded, very large pet peeve of mine, but definately doesn''t take away from the movie.
That wasn''t meant as a racist jab but as a simple historical fact.
No disrespect is intended but how many bad movies have we seen where a person that historically would never have been there, is placed in the script to fufill some modern quota?
Looks like a good movie, but Jesus you need to quit with the racist BS.
