This was a really good movie. I was aware of the massacres in Rowanda but we are so far away from that reality that it somehow doesn't seem real until you are visually confronted with it. I thought the main actor did a great job.
My husband read Romeo Dallaire''s book "Shake Hands with the Devil". Afterward, we watched Hotel Rwanda. We were a little disappointed with the generalization of Sen. Dallaire''s Character. He was a General, from Montreal. He had very little support from the U.N. I guess the movie wasn''t about him though, was it. If you were at all moved by this movie, I do suggest you read Sen. Dalliare''s book.
