I really don't understand how anyone can leave a pet or child in the car. You have to live in a vacuum to not know the dangers. Anyone caught should be banned from having kids or pets forever end of story
Ricky from Trailer Park Boys isn't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but even he knows better than this.
One of the new TPB seasons on Netflix has a scene where Ricky and Bubbles are in a mall parking lot, and they see a dog locked in a car. Ricky is so angry that he starts shouting that he's going to take the dog if its owner doesn't let it out. When he doesn't get an answer, he smashes the car window open and frees the dog.
Yes, this is theft, but Ricky probably saved the dog's life and gave him a good home.

It always amazes me how people still do this. How do you forget about your pet like that? Same with kids in hot cars too. I've read two cases this year where parents forgot about their kids in a car for hours. I get that life is busy and that there are a myriad of distractions everywhere, but if I don't see or hear my dog for a few mins I usually go and see what he's chewing up this time.
