Weather Channel defends reporter captured swaying in Florence winds as 2 people walk behind him

The Weather Channel defended veteran meteorologist Mike Seidel who was captured in a viral video attempting to compose himself as winds hit him but two people were seen walking behind him with no difficulty.

    What always gets me is the reporter will say something along the lines of "We are here in (city name) where the authorities have insisted everyone evacuate." Then why the F are you even there Mr/Mrs Reporter.

    Because it's their job to report on what is happening. Same reason there are reporters in war zones now.
