Crime-ridden San Francisco has introduced new sanitized language for criminals, getting rid of words such as “offender” and “addict” while changing “convicted felon” to “justice-involved person.”

Oh yes, using "nicer" words will make all the difference! Watch the crime rate fall!

Along that thinking then "drunk driver" could become "person operating a vehicle after consuming a beverage containing alcohol".

"Murderer" could be "person taking population control into their own hands".

How about "person obtaining products without exchanging money for them" instead of shoplifter?

Oh they don't make me angry. I find all this PC stuff rather funny now. That's why I made light of it with other suggested new terminology. Must keep up with the times!

The definition hasn't changed. Just Fox "News" incorrectly uses the terms interchangeably. ;)

The Progressive Regressives running San Francisco should worry less about giving felons friendlier labels and more about cleaning the shit off their streets if they don't want people to get angry.

I wouldn't bother trademarking them. I won't plagiarize, I'll merely liberate someone else's words as mine.

What PC Snowflake moron came up with that one. Charles Manson was a “justice involved person”? It should have been cadaver along with other “justice involved” low order primates.
