Quebec provincial police are investigating whether at least two cellphone tower fires north of Montreal could be linked to conspiracy theories that 5G wireless technology caused the coronavirus pandemic.
I won't assume that 5G has anything to do with this until someone gets arrested and says it does.
Posts threatening to attack phone masts were receiving likes on Facebook. One post in an anti-vaccine group on April 12 shared a photo of a burned phone mast with the quote, “Nobody wants cancer & covid19. Stop trying to make it happen or every pole and mobile store will end up like this one.”
The irony being; 5G hasn't been implementd widely yet, so those towers weren't 5G.
Maybe the cell phone fires were simple arson.
What are the odds that 80+ simple arsons would be carried out in so many places independently?
