The best part is that the gov't thought it'd be a good idea to give everyone one of them a handgun to play with. So, a goodly portion of these public servants went from being just arrogant obnoxious assholes to being, dangerous arrogant obnoxious assholes.

Yup Harper's gov't did implement it but, the big difference is that they did it ethically and through parliament and after a committee recommended it.

Which, is completely unlike the current minority gov't that used this pandemic to bypass parliament and get their anti gun agenda pushed through with no debate and no chance for anyone to oppose them.
But the good news is that the Liberals won't be the gov't for ever and when the Conservatives take power again they'll be able to use the same disgusting unethical methods that the Liberals have used with this gun grab to push their own agenda's through.
