A massive explosion rocked downtown Beirut on Tuesday, flattening much of the port, damaging buildings and blowing out windows and doors as a giant mushroom cloud rose above the capital. Witnesses saw many people injured by flying glass and debris.
That’s one hell of a blast. Not as apocalyptic as the one Tianjin, China at that refinery a few years back, but the daylight really let’s you see the immediate destructive effects of that shockwave. Especially the nearest buildings getting ravaged by it.
