Just in case anyone was wondering about its absence.
Obviously they are concentrating on producing supply to their own market rather than deal with exporting it. I wonder if other brands/items will do the same.
"raydan" said Been a very long time since I've bought Ragu. I stick to locally made brands when I'm not making my own.
Me too. It's been a long time since I bought any brand of jarred tomato sauce though I have bought the deli-section fresh sauces on occasion. Making your own is still best!
Used to jazz up Ragu all the time when the kids were little. Easier than making your own from scratch and mainly so much FASTER. The higher end jars are okay. Better than the mangeacake sauce (chili minus beans) everyone seems to get. I do make my own more often now that I've retired.
PC pasta sauce is pretty good. Fuck Ragu. PC sauce is good because it's just basic pasta sauce, allowing you to add your own seasonings to it without overzipping it.

Watching Ragu die is a good thing.

A can of good Unico crushed tomatoes and a mitt fill of basil is so much better . . .
