Government to pay Mountie cadets $500 a week

Prime Minister Stephen Harper made the announcement in Regina, saying cadets will immediately start earning the money for the duration of their 24-week training period.

Long over due, training for 6 months with no pay
I'm surprised they could recruit anybody.

oh man that is GREAT news, I was looking at taking out ANOTHER $20,000 to pay for Depo, freggen sweet news!

its about time. my friend is just starting her application process to the RCMP and I know this is going to be a relief for her if shes accecpted
