Prime Minister Stephen Harper made the announcement in Regina, saying cadets will immediately start earning the money for the duration of their 24-week training period.

    Long over due, training for 6 months with no pay
    I'm surprised they could recruit anybody.

    its about time. my friend is just starting her application process to the RCMP and I know this is going to be a relief for her if shes accecpted
