Man, I thought this was all just inside baseball till I saw this. But now that Layton and the NDP folks are upset about the details coming out, it's apparent that all's not well in Whoville.

Maybe it would be better that the GG sink the opposition plans to take over. Another election would be tough, but this is turning into a circus, and the best way to put a stop to it is another election.

Why would the NDP be so upset that their meetings are made public if they weren't up to something dirty?

A spokesman for the Prime Minister's Office said there was nothing unethical about covertly listening in to the private NDP deliberations, taping those discussions and releasing them to the media.

Oh, OK, no problem then.....

It's more likely some NDP person with a spine and some morals, saw this was wrong and leaked a tape. I agree that this is just smoke and Jack is in a hell of a lot of trouble over this one.

I suggest you phone the RCMP and lodge a formal complaint.

The Liberals are going to be pissed that they weren't in on this circle jerk.

Watch the Liberals get cold feet and pull out of this alliance.

Jack Layton should be shot for treason.

I'm starting to think I should read these articles from the bottom up. They always put the key bits of information at the end...

An unidentified Tory was "invited" to participate in the call, said PMO spokesman Dimitri Soudas.

"Maybe the invitation was meant for the Bloc, and they accidentally invited us. We were invited. When you get invited somewhere you have the opportunity to choose to participate or not participate."

It's almost like the article writers are hoping you won't read all the way to the end. Come to think of it it appears like a lot of people don't. :P

i hope they get charged. They tout themselves as honest Abes, but that's a bunch of bull and anyone with two braincells knows it. They are desperate.

The NDP cannot be trusted and it's high time we got the word out there. Jack Layton would stab his mom in the back if it meant he would have power.

Someone in the Tory office has the same name as someone involved with the NDP/Bloc coalition, they were sent an email by mistake the email contained the phone number of the meeting and an to participate.

I wonder how many people given the circumstances would not have dialed the number?

somebody in the NDP office is now on the unemployment line.

just like the ROC if this coalition ever takes hold :P
