The global recession may have lowered tourism numbers in many vacation spots, but at Grouse Mountain resort in North Vancouver, British Columbia, things are looking up, both literally and figuratively.
Hmmmm, no Calgary Stampede? I guess they didn't want to campare it's 1.2M in 10 days to places that are open year round or 4 to 5 months of the summer.
I have never seen the Stampede, but would like to. I have never seen the Edmonton Mall either. I went to a job interview for the Foot Hills but didn't take it.. ps yes I was offered it..
the mall in Mississauga is considered the world's largest mall, now that Edmonton has been reclassified. I think they are calling WEM a tourist/entertainment site.
One "man made" place I love is the old sector of Quebec City.
Point Pleasent Park
and the best of course...
British Columbia
ps yes I was offered it..
Gros Morne national park is amazing, and Twillingate with the iceburgs is pretty neat too
