The NHL's board of governors unanimously rejected Jim Balsillie's application to become owner of the Phoenix Coyotes on Wednesday, while unanimously approving a bid by Jerry Reinsdorf.
Balsille went about it wrong he is trying to go around the NHL and it is not going to happen. Like it or not it is their product and you play by their rules .
I also don't see the NHL going for the Ice Edge deal with games played in Canada.
Can you imagine how poorly the Coyotes would be treated by the fans here in wwhat is supposed to be a home game for them? Especially if they are playing a Canadian team.
Einstein said that insanity is doing the same thing again and again even though you know it doesn't work. This team already failed in Pheonix, I see no point in keeping it there. Can't say I'm surprised though.
just money, money, money.
Is it just me or do I not remember stories like this when I was kid ?
