    This is a joke article right? Please tell me it is? I mean soccer players can make contact without bubbles, they just have to stop being sissies.

    That would be awesome! Build up enough speed and a good bounce from one player on another can send one guy sliding to the other side of the arena and out the door.
    As for the the article I think it would be fun to try (I imagine some kids would love this), but obviously it can't be taken as a serious event. I have to wonder if the possibility of concussion still exists even in those bubbles. Nothing really keeping your head from bouncing around the inside. Plus I imagine it gets pretty warm in those bubbles.

    Why couldn't it? Encouraging contact would make for more conflict and that is really what spectator sport is all about anyway.

    Yea, but more contact and the games will take 7 hours due to guys crying like babies when someone touches them. :lol:
