U.S. Food and Drug Administration officials plan to investigate whether inhalable caffeine sold in lipstick-sized canisters is safe for consumers and if its manufacturer was right to brand it as a dietary supplement.
Breathable "drinks". Huh. Beats the alternative though. I still remember hearing about coffee enemas. Personally, I'd rather inhale the caffeine (with vitamin B even lol) than have some coffee squirted up my ass.
Caffeine is not coffee. I would stay away from this crap - it's going to give you a very sudden jolt, going directly into your bloodstream like that. Who knows what the longer term health effects might be.
In chemistry class, we extracted pure caffeine. Some people tried "ingesting" it... small amount, like wetting your finger and dipping it small... pure caffeine is a white powder, if I remember correctly... smelled a bit like raspberries.
The ones who did this only tried it once... big rush but heart palpitations and a lot of sweating.

Don't understand why - I've taken caffeine pills and not had that. They take about 1/2 hour to notice effects and one pill is like a strong cup of coffee. (200 mg). They also taste incredibly bitter. So you guys must have been ingesting mass quantities, and maybe the powder form is more quickly absorbed.
But I used to hang out at a Smitties as a student. They gave free refills, 15cents a cup. I must have drunk about 15 cups one day, and that got pretty freaky. Never do that again.
OK, so I'll admit I was in that stupid age of snorting Aderol, Caffeine, and B12 pills back in High School. Drinking 3 energy drink during school didn't do the trick so I stepped it up.
Now I just drink coffee and ingest the B12 pills with a meal. From what I remember though, snorting the B12 pills was the safest and most enjoyable as there was no crash.

Doesn't anybody actually DRINK coffee anymore?
Oh Ray, coffee is so last century. Get with the times man

I never tried it and didn't even drink coffee at that age.
